Chief Executive MUHAMMAD TAHSEEN CHOWDHURY

Tahseen Chowdhury, an enthusiastic energetic young man developed with creative mind, currently  has been studying in the Rajshahi University bearing the excellent academic results. He is very hard working and has built a strong personality to work with strong mind. He has assisted in many research works with full of energy and cut a good result. He has excellent command over Bengali and English in reading, writing and listening, and also has some important computer skills like Microsoft word, excel, power point presentation, internet browsing, video and content editing, Email usage. He has great presentation ability as well. He has worked as volunteer in many research related works. His unique skill of doing easy communication has enriched his personality. He has the ability to work under pressure and can cope with unfavorable situation. He is a healthy young gentleman with sound mental health indeed.

Coordinator (Research) Sirajum Munira Ph.D.

Sirajum Munira, currently working as a research coordinator at PCRC, has brilliant academic results with 2nd class in her honors and 1st class in M.S.S program under the  Rajshahi University. She has completed her Ph.D. degree successfully from IBS (Institute of Bangladesh Studies) on “Cohesive Approach to Primary Education in Bangladesh: Issues and Challenges”. Two articles on research related work has been published under her name in Bangladesh. She has exclusive experience of working in research related work. She has worked on dowry system under the Rajshahi City Corporation. She also has vast experience of teaching and attended many seminars and training programs on research related works. She has brilliant proficiency in excellent communication skills both in Bengali and English and in computer literacy as well. She has a great management capacity with brilliant presentation skill. It is beyond saying that she is qualified enough to play her role as a great co- coordinator in our firm.

Research Executive MUHAMMAD NAFIS UDDIN Ph.D    

Dr. Muhammad Nafis Uddin is a Lecturer of Agronomy at Tamaltala Agriculture & Technical College, Natore. He has vast experience in social research. Over the past 10 years, he is intensively involved with various types of research projects as expert and consultant. He has renowned 3 article publication on Journal of Soil and Nature & Agriculture and Rural research. He has vast field work experience and computer skills. He has received 6 month Diploma Degree in “Information and Communication Technology” from Bangladesh Computer Council (Ministry of Information & Communication Technology) is excel in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, Power Point and Windows Operating System.

Research Executive Moumita Paul

Moumita Paul is a Research Executive at Pragmatic Consultancy and Research Center (PCRC). Over the past few years, she has been actively engaged in various research initiatives, fieldwork, academic writing, and analytical tasks, particularly focusing on development, anthropology, and social change. She brings hands-on experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with growing expertise in tools like SPSS and Excel. Her writing skills are refined through academic and impact-based reporting, especially in the areas of education, WASH, health, gender, and youth development. She has contributed to institutional assessments, SWOT analyses, and field research involving grassroots communities, and she is passionate about inclusive development. She has worked on projects involving child protection, sustainability, social inclusion, and urban poverty, such as the End Programme Evaluation: Dhaka East AP,   End Programme Evaluation: Tanore AP of World Vision Bangladesh. She is skilled in developing fieldwork tools, conducting Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, and case studies, especially with marginalized communities. She’s interest areas include Gender Equality, Child Rights, Indigenous Knowledge, Livelihoods, and Behavior Change Communication (BCC). She has strong communication skills and a passion for presenting insights through both written and visual formats.

Research Executive Sharmina Rahman

Sharmina Rahman is a Research Executive of Pragmatic Consultancy and Research Center (PCRC). Last 3 years, she is intensively involved with various types of research projects as research assistant and research executive. Sharmina is an expert in working with modern mixed method research following Qualitative and Quantitative approach as well as good enough in report and article writing. She has enormous experience in working with national and international organization in distinctive research project. Her specialization in organizing, leading, consultation and behavior change communications along with excellent presentation skill. She also has extensive exposure to the children and gender issues, especially income generation activities of women, child protection and human rights. She has expertise in collecting, analyzing and processing data using higher statistical tools. She is exceptionally skilled in budget preparing, developing methodological tools, conducting Focus Group Discussions, taking Key Informant Interviews, Case Studies and In-depth Interviews. She has diverse sets of experience in assessment, evaluation, marker research, value chain, child rights and women empowerment in numerous domestic and international organizations such as iDE, World Vision, Plan International Bangladesh, Ain O Salish Kendra etc. She has expertise on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) analysis. Sharmina completed her BSS and MSS in Social Work from University of Rajshahi.

Research Executive MD. ABIR AHMED

MD. ABIR AHMED, a potential, hardworking and creative young gentleman, has the ability to work in any situation in cool mind. He has been working currently in the PCRC as a Research Executive with full of enthusiasm. He has experiences of working with national and international NGOs as Assistant Manager, Field and Team Manager. Some of the research projects those he was enumerator with are Ain Salish Kendra, Social Science Faculty University of Rajshahi and of Planning commission, Bangladesh. He has brilliant academic results along with strong personality to deal with any hard work.

He has assisted many research projects as team manager with his excellent ability. He has experience of working under the department of social services for a good amount time also has 8 months experience as assistant branch manager at “Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha” in micro credit program. He has proficiency in Bengali (Mother Language) and English (Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Reading Ability) with brilliant fluency. Also he has some fundamental computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs, SPSS works for data analysis, Photoshop, Internet Browsing & E-mail Usage).

Research Executive Nazma Akter Ety

Nazma Akter Ety is a young researcher had completed her B.S.S & M.S.S in social work, department of Rajshahi University. She is a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and very determined with excellent communication and team-working skills that thrives in a challenging environment. She is currently working as Research Executive with PCRC. She has completed National, International and many research project like as – “Community-based prevention of domestic violence against women: A Corss-Cultural Study among Bengali, Garo and Santal Ethnic Communities in Rural Bangladesh”- By Linneaus University Sweden and Domestic Violence Prevention Research Team, University of Rajshahi works at full-time intervention staff. She has also published two research articles on Bangabandhu, which have been published in peer reviewed journals. She has good academic result along with strong personality to deal with any critical situation. She has competencies in arranging and conducting Educational Group Discussions (EGD), defines research methodology and mixed method research design. She has expertise in report writing and data collection, moderation of FGD, KII and interview for social research with good communication and coordination skills. She is familiar with many computer skills like operating systems, internet and web browsing, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS-25) and with social medias. Research Executive(IT) Rimon Chowdhury

Rimon Chowdhury is a man of creativity and innovation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Rajshahi, specializing in Crop Science and Technology. Despite his academic background, his passion lies in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

He possesses strong expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Digital Content Marketing, WordPress Development, and MERN Stack Web Development.

In 2018, he founded GreenyGardener.com, a gardening blog where he has published over 1,000 well-researched articles on various gardening topics, helping thousands of readers worldwide.

Research Assistant Nazmun Nahar Shaoly

Nazmun Nahar Shaoly is a Research Assistant at Pragmatic Consultancy and Research Center (PCRC). She is passionate about research, mental health advocacy, and community development, with hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative methods. At PCRC, Nazmun works across all stages of research designing tools, conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), and case studies, as well as coding, analysis, and report writing. She has worked directly with marginalized communities, including the Oraon and Santal peoples, children, adolescents, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, ensuring ethical practices and inclusive participation. Her portfolio includes the End Program Evaluation for Dhaka East AP and Tanore AP with World Vision Bangladesh. She is currently contributing to a study on the health and education of Oraon adolescent girls, studies on nutritional and reproductive health among Santal adolescent girls and SRHR and WASH of Oraon Women in Rajshahi Division. Nazmun is skilled in MS Excel, MS Word, SPSS, Kobo Toolbox, and basic NVivo, with additional knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, C, and C++. Her research interests include gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), mental health, adolescent well-being, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and ethnic minority rights. Beyond research, Nazmun is active in leadership and community engagement. She serves as the Education and Research Secretary of the Rajshahi University Science Club (RUSC). As convenor, she organized “Learn to Heal Your Soul: Psychological First Aid for Mental Well-being” and co-convened the workshop “Mastering Data Analysis for Business Development and Research.” She also led organizational teams for training programs, environmental competitions, and youth engagement initiatives. She has participated in conferences and workshops, including the 6th Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Conference, the “Increase Your Research Impact” workshop, and the “Social Hackathon: Innovate for Impact – Equity, Diversity, Inclusion” where her team reached the final round. Combining practical field experience, technical skills, and a dedication to social impact, Nazmun aspires to grow as a development professional, contribute to inclusive research, and promote positive change in communities across Bangladesh and beyond.

Research Assistant Sumaiya Tabassum

Sumaiya Tabassum is a Research Assistant at Pragmatic Consultancy and Research Center (PCRC). She is particularly interested in research that promotes social transformation, child protection, gender equality and community resilience. At PCRC, she has been engaged in a wide range of research activities including field-level data collection, literature review, report writing and analysis, contributing to multiple national and international development projects. She has experience working on issues related to livelihoods, disability inclusion, mental health, education and urban poverty. She is confident in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and is gradually building her skills in tools such as SPSS and Excel for data processing and visualization. She is especially skilled in preparing interview guides, facilitating FGDs, conducting KIIs and in-depth interviews and working closely with marginalized groups including women, children and persons with disabilities. Her academic background and hands-on research work have developed her abilities in writing academic papers, case studies, project reports, and evaluation summaries. She’s key areas of interest include gender and social inclusion (GESI), youth development, inclusive education, behavior change communication (BCC) and evidence-based community interventions. She has worked on projects involving child protection, sustainability, social inclusion and urban poverty such as the End Program Evaluation: Dhaka East AP, End Program Evaluation: Tanore AP of World Vision Bangladesh. Her communication skills, collaborative approach and commitment to ethical fieldwork reflect her growing potential as a development professional. In the future, she aspires to contribute to policy-relevant research and grassroots-level initiatives that ensure equity, access and empowerment for underrepresented communities in Bangladesh and beyond.

Mostafijur Rahman Mintu, a responsible and committed Research Assistant of Pragmatic Consultancy and Research Center (PCRC) who displays an ability to absorb new ideas for communicating effectively and currently looking for a suitable role in assign tasks with a reputable exiting moment. He has enough experiences of working with national and international NGOs as Enumerators like Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) and Safety and Rights.He is a disciplined and insightful data analyst with one year of experience. Eager to leverage big data interpreting and visualizing skills at PCRC to drive growth and satisfactory outcomes. He has an excellent academic result under Social Work Department of Rajshahi University along with working at an English Newspaper, ‘The Daily Sun’ as University correspondent. He has also proficiency in Bengali (Mother Language) and experienced in computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs, SPSS, Excel) for data analysis.

She has experiences of working with national and international NGOs as Enumerators, Field and Team Manager. She has good academic results along with strong personality to deal with any hard work with eagerness. She has proficiency in Bengali (Mother Language) and English language. She has completed some research project- Creating awareness among women who has faced oppresed organized by Bangladesh Mohila Parisad works as team leader at Dinajpur, 2 years experiences work with disable child at KMSCS, Rajshahi.
